ok found out how to get the overflow started by another web site by puttingin a tube and sucking out the air to get it started. YUCK.. put it worked. seems simple now that we know how it is suppose to work. :D

ok pump is working now and we can't get the overflow going.... ugggg!

We just bought a used system. 55 gal with 15 gal sump, skimmer and a little giant pump. This is our first salt water tank attempt. We hooked it all up the way we thought it should work and the water wont pump. Not sure if the pump isn't working or if we are doing something wrong. can someone...
