Do you have the API liquid test kit or the test strips? If you can please post your current water parameters (test results) so we can help you with more specific information.

I started off with 6 red cherry shrimp in August and now have at least 20. If your water conditions are good they should breed pretty quickly.

Guppies are really active swimmers, so I think a 2.5 is too small for one, let alone a few Why not get a few ghost shrimp and breed them? Shrimp are really interesting characters to watch, especially when you start getting little babies swimming around.

Just found out I have one of these guys (rather than an Oto). Has anybody kept a CAE successfully with other fish? What are suitable tank mates for a CAE? He's too aggressive to the mollies and guppies in our community tank and I want to give him a new home. What tank size is recommended?

What is the recommended tank size for these bad boys? Just discovered my "oto" is actually a Chinese algae eater and trying to work out how I can keep him (they do have a lot of personality!) without losing any more fish!

He was labelled as a dwarf sucking catfish when I bought him in June and was pretty chilled. Now, he chases other fish when they invade his space and spends hours swimming laps around the heater. Could he be a Chinese Algae eater? Or just a crazy Otto?
