    Plant id

The plant in the pic is a Selaginella species (clubmoss). Is a terrestrial plant, as many people have already said. It's a gorgeous creeping club moss, but in a terrarium.

Is this 240 a good deal?

I think that's an awesome deal. Good luck moving it. I'd suggest 6 guys (one on each corner and two in the middle).

    Brackish plants

Personally, I've had great success with Anubias. I've also heard that hornwort and water sprite do well but I don't have experience with them in a brackish tank.

    500 + gallon shark lagoon

I just wanted to add, kudos to you for creating a huge tank for your sharks. Sadly, I've seen sharks in 55 gallon tanks (or less) as their PERMANENT homes. None of our tanks will ever be a perfect replication of the ocean, but we strive to create a comfortable new environment for our...

    glowlight tetras plus betta?

Coincidentally, I have the same exact setup. The glowlights school and do their own thing while the betta does his. After the first couple of days they all got comfortable around each other. No chasing or any fin nips at all. I think it's an excellent combo.

    Betta companions

They should make some fish app for the phone. Crazy kids and your scary technology :)

    My Pandora under the sea.

Right with ya. Most of the time, I really don't like tanks without live plants, rocks or wood; but this tank is something else. I am VERY impressed.

    Will newts be okay?

I honestly think that you'll have to choose between the blue lobster or the newts. More than likely, the lobster would make a meal out of your newt. I used to have one and they can get pretty big and even catch fish. If you go with the newt, he'll probably eat the ghost shrimp, but they come a...

    Stocking my son's 20 gallon.

My son wants to get a similar setup like the one I have, except my tank is larger. This will only be a temporary setup in the 20 gallon tank (perhaps a few months, max), but I'm wondering if he would be able to keep this list of fish/ inverts until he gets a bigger tank. The fish are: Two...

    I killed my clown :(

They sure did. It appeared as though they were making out for a second, lol.

    I killed my clown :(

I'm VERY confused, yet very excited. I don't know how it's possible, but the male clown fish is still alive!!! One of my fish had to die because there were fish guts and tiny bones everywhere (perhaps is was the firefish). The thing that I get is that the clown was the one by the tube right...
