Yep,you got it!Welcome to the hobby btw,I always qt every fish to be safe incase I accdiently add a disease to my tank.

You MAY be able to do yellowtail damsels,but there still have a pretty bold attiude,but avoid Sergeant Major Damsels,3 striped and Domino Damsels especially!

Keep doing water changes till Nitrate is below 10,then I'll give you some cool fish to consider :cool:

The damsels will get aggressive,specially I see in the third picture you have a 3 stripe damsel wth are among the most aggressive in my experience,also don't buy bottle garlic from your fish store,by the way.When you get the moment observe the behavior closely,if he is getting chased away by any...

I agree with melosu58,for a 20 gallon a sleeper banded is a great goby for your size tank,and there really fun to watch!

damsels are meanies After five years...I never met a damsel as mean as a Domino or 3 striped Damsel fish,beware they will take over the tank no matter what kind of damsel.

I always qt my fish for atleast 7 weeks,just to be safe.Fresh water dipping in my opinion is extremely risky,and stressful on the fish.

How about a dwarf Gourami!?I use to have one when I kept freshwater,very hardy,and easy to care for.
