I didn't even know they were there until I saw four of them, but one by one they were getting eaten by my cichlids until just the one was left. I would have put them in another tank, but I didn't have one on hand.

I do have a single fry left from a previous batch of fry from the same female. I've fed him crushed flakes and he's nearly an inch in size already. He's in the same tank as the big guys and it's like they don't even notice him. I keep waiting for him to get eaten, but he's still there, every...

So I'm no expert on telling whether a fish is holding or not but I've been told to look for the "pouch" in the mouth or throat area and I have one female red zebra and she looks like she's holding, but I wanted to get a second opinion. What do you guys think?

My poor Sulpherhead didn't make it through the night. He got pretty beat up yesterday so I was gonna move him to a smaller tank to heal but this morning he was swimming up side down and didn't make it by mid day. I'm a bit bummed. But it happens.

I have mixed african cichlids in my 55 right now and they're doing great! I would definitely suggest lake Malawi cichlids. They're fun and have all sorts of colors.

Here's my 5 inch pleco. Not sure which species, but I love him all the same.

Lethrinops intermedius is a beautiful cichlid you might like! I have a 55 gal with peacocks and haps, and a couple mbuna. You'll have a lot of fun with them! :)

Do you guys know how fast they grow? Cause I've had this guy for almost a year and he's grown maybe an inch and a half. And I have an outdoor pond that, if they do grow larger, they can be transferred to.
