Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.......... some one who knows about Sri Lanka. Well it's very cold and I think it's going down below 18c 'cos my tank is out side of the house and the fish is barbs (Tigers, Green, Albino).
My tank is a 29 gallon tank and I need to buy a heater for that but I don't know what is the best wattage and the length of the heater also want to what would be the type with a regulator or without a regulator.
Please help me out my fish actually dieing due to the coldness of the water.
Guys I think there treatment is working for Ich issue what I'm using is methylene blue and salt. When I checked today the whit spots have reduced and fish looks ok.
I did a partial 50% water change today and did the same thing and have to continue this till I get rid of the Ich. I'll keep you...
OH and the light is not that bright it's because of my mobile phones camera doesn't handle the brightness very well thats why it looks like big spot light.

OK here are some images of my tank compared to your tanks it a poor one but I love it and also the dimensions of the tank is W12" x H15.5" x L36" (inches) full glass and silicon.
So what do you think is this a good setup or is it needs to be changed all ideas are welcome to improve my setup.
I also did some search to help you but it seems like the filter is not enough for your new tank try a bigger one what I normally do is buy a filter thats one step ahead of the recommended one so if upgrade some thing it want give much trouble.
