That is the case. Dojo like weather loaches, aka pond loaches are cold water. Best put with a gold fish. I've had a few loaches and they have never destroyed a plant. But they do sure like to uproot when they burrow under the substrate.
Just an fyi
There's not much. Salt bath would stress him out too much. Peas could help but if he's not eating it's not going to. Just keep an eye on him. A dead fish can cause a big ammonia spike.
Sorry, same thing happened with my balloon mollies.
I have 3 adfs in a 46 gallon bow front. They are about 3 years old. Never hand fed them. I feed them sinking pellets for bottom feeders. They find them as soon as the pellets hit the bottom. No problems what so ever. They do tend to give up when swimming up for air on occasion but they try again...
Obviously terrible.
Fishing is fine but with this "micro-fishing" you'll be catching the same fish over and over with no where for them to escape to. Very harmful and just cruel. Not only that but I can't see much sport or challenge in it.
Ever hear of easy as shooting fish in a barrel?

Best 3 ways for me to tell (I'm on generation 8 of guppies now):
*fish gets boxy and very square. Usually 24 hours before birth
*Gravid spot gets very dark and you can see...
The main difference for me was the colour the tannins in them made the water. One yellow, one red. I believe it was Malaysian that made the water reddish/brown.
Selection must be grim and slim for you than!
I just need to say if you have ottos and plecos you need to make sure you supplement their algae diet. Algae on your tank alone will not be enough for them. I'm sure you know that, but many don't.
Ottos are neat, I've always had them. Presently I...
No discus or clown loach for sure.
Stick with tetras. You might enjoy a half dozen tiger barbs though. Just don't mix them with anything as they can be very nippy. Maybe a few rosy and a few tiger barbs. They are cool fish.
Also try to keep mollies in brackish water in the future. I find they...
