As people have said make sure it won't eat the silicone also you will want to make sure the tank is very clean after, use some prime to just incase.... some cleaners even soak into the silicon and leach out later....
I way say that is a good filter as far as filtering goes, I don't like the way the filter media works the, also they aren't especially quiet.
AquaClear 20 or Fluvial C2? Would be my recommendation.
The 4 seemed fine, they chased each other and then stopped, no continued agrettion. Seemed active and healthy.
I tested my water last weekend. Mayyyyybe .25 PPM amonia, 0 nitrite, I let it hit 40PPM nitrate so I did a 50% water change and my PH was 6.6. I'm going to get a TDS meter soon.
So I started this little rimless 10g with ghost shrimp and 4 Scarlet gem badis, I was mainly using RO water so it was working great, I found out that the badis love blackworms and they seemed accustom to the tank... so today I come home and I only have 1...... I didn't pay a lot of attention...
