I was wondering how to tell if my yoyo is pregnant I have 3 of them two are slender and one has an enlarged belly

Just curious how do you know if a yoyo loach is pregnant? Are the egg layers or give birth to live ones? We have 3 and all were the same size now one looks much bigger in the belly.

I'm not sure on the type of algae it a brownish/black hair like but other than that I'm not sure

I believe I leave my lighting on to long its on from 7 am till 11 pm
