- 120 gallon salt water aquarium, 30 gallon box under it with protein skimmer and filters to try and keep it going. NORMALLY goes along ok. We did have a leak in the black drain down box in the tank. A month ago, a storm knocked out our power and we ended up with about 50 gallons on the floor and in the basement. We finished breaking down the entire aquarium to reseal everything two weeks ago. Used silicone II so lost all but two fish. Bummer. Will be starting over tomorrow with silicone I.
