Hi All, One of my kuhlis has a growth in its abdomen and I was just wondering what it was and if there's anything I can do to treat it? It doesnt appear to be moving much but is breathing as if it was very stressed.

Yeah I thought so, just ordered some equilibrium for the Gh and I use prime as conditioner. I have to use baking soda for Kh because my tap is 0. Even if gh is low, why would the snail be producing excessive slime? Thanks!

Your ph swings will almost certainly be because your kh levels are below 4dkh. Ive used crushed coral in the past and it barely worked. There are a few things you can do (but dont add anything to quick coz itll also raise ph at the same time and cause a big swing thatll kill your fish). Try...

Awesome i hope so. I'll definitely add another pleco when the cycle is done because i love watching them. Ive been going about 3-4 weeks so far with daily pwcs and no diseases to contend with as of yet touch wood! I think that would be the icing on the cake if that happened..
