Yes thanks for all the advice. I was able to make to wal mart and got some minnow air pumps it was my only option lol. No lfs or anything open it was like 3 in the morning. I live in Az. My cichlids are doing fine. We had a really bad monsoon come through last night.

Yeah I know that. I keep both my tanks around the same parameters. I test my water consistently. I even bought a little Milwaukee ph/ppm reader pretty nifty. Little expensive but i thought it would be a good investment

Ok yeah I think I agree with that. I have never used it before as well till now and all my cichlids have thrived well. So I'll stick to what I have always done no salt.

I am not saying I'm right just making an observation and giving my opinion. I don't want to make enemies on here. We all can learn from each other and I respect everyones opinion or advice. Sorry for seeming like I was coming off like an a-hole not my intentions.
