I've done some reading, and some people say you should only add aquarium salt when bettas are sick, while others add it to their tanks regularly. Is it ok to add a little bit regularly? thoughts??? Sent from my iPad using Aquarium Advice

Yes, I've determined what I need to clean and what I just need to throw out. Everything is bleached, rinsed, sat in the sun for a few hours, rinsed in very hot water again, sat in the sun, rinsed, dried, and wiped down one more time, not to mention sitting for at least a month before setting it...

Oh, also, I read bettas don't like strong currents. My filter is a little bit strong I think. I read that u can put panty hose to slow it down??? Is this true???

Ok, so I have a five gallon and my guppies got tb, so I kno they probably won't make it. I will bleach everything and try again but I don't kno if I should go with guppies again. I plan on breeding them and I have a ten gallon on standby so I'm thinking I should just wait till I can get it up...

I used bacteria to move my tank cycle along, if that helps...
