How many 3" fish can a 30gal standard tank with approx. 30lbs LR house?

I have one of these guys and he is great. 100% peaceful won't bother any of the other tank inhabitants including snails and a fellow hermit crab, despite his large demeanor. Also a hard-working scavenger! :)

If your tank conditions are good the pH will take care of itself. I personally choose to stay away from buffers. Abnormal pH levels is one of the most blatant indicators that we need to do something about our water quality, and adding a buffer is basically just like telling it to shut up and...

wow thanks! great to know! BUT I've actually decided not to do the 10, and instead convert my 29gal fowlr to a reef, in which case these bulbs are definately out of the question lol. I am now saving up for a current usa 36" t5 fixture. thanks anyway though :)

I want to set up a 5gal refugium BENEATH my 29gal is this possible? how does it work I've never had one or even seen one in real life for that matter
