Hi! I am relatively new to the fishkeeping hobby (about 4 months). I currently have a 5 gal aquarium with a male betta and a mystery snail. I am also in the process of setting up a 55 gal community aquarium. This forum has been very helpful in my research and I finally decided to join.

Hi! A few questions-did you dechlorinate your tap water before testing it? I read somewhere that chlorine can cause false test results when checking for ammonia. Also, are you waiting at least 24 hours after adding the Prime before testing the water? Same thing here-the Prime can cause false...
