- I just set up a freshwater 14 gallon tank in my office. I have a carbon filter and small heater. I started it out with 6 fish and they all died at the same time after about 10 days. I had the water tested before I put them in and it was perfect and after they died the ph levels were off the chart I was told. Don't know what happened.
