So I have this ancient danio (nearly 4 years) and I noticed he started to get this bulge in his side or stomach. He swims and eats normally but just looks a little deformed... I attached a picture and you can kind of see what I mean. Has anyone else experienced this before? If so what was the...
I would say high power led lights are great. And also, if possible, try and get moon lighting lights. They look great and aren't bright but you can still see your fish at night!

It could be a number of things!! Maturity, stress, change in diet, etc. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless he is also acting strangely. I once had a male guppy that was completely orange and then one day his tail was blue. So weird.. So just make sure that he doesn't act any differently...
The tetras, platys, Cory's, and sae will definitely be fine and not pick on them, however I am not so sure about the pearl gourami. Is it fully grown and/or able to fit the pleco in its mouth?
How big is the pearl compared to them?
Okay i am feeding bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp. Anyone know of a good flake food that enhances colour? And it's so annoying I feel like it's such a waste of money when that happens :(
Well I personally like it!! But then again I love all fish tanks... But I don't think you lack height in the back.. The bamboo and wood look like they all go to the top.
They are looking a little bit brighter! Although still not nearly as red as my neons. Unfortunately I woke up and one of them was dead although he looked fine yesterday. What would I have to do if they're still dull after a week?
