I am currently cycling my 52g tank with fish and 6 plant/fern. I have just got a nitrite reading so I would assume adding more fish a bad idea but don't know about assain snails?

I'm afraid I'm quite new to 'live' plants, and fish keeping in general as it happens. I'm asking for advice really and can't offer any info on my plants? Could anyone ID these plants so I can read up on them, and or point out any health issues? Thanks in advance ?
