    Thanks for all the advice. I have a 48" long tank. No major algea outbreaks yet. I do get some green algea that will form on the bottom now and then. But that tends to happen when direct cunlight shines into the tank. My wife sometimes forgets to keep the shade down .

    Glue suggestion

    Not to change the subject but i have been lucky in regards to getting fish to eat different foods. My vilante puffer eats whatever i put intot he tank. when i got him he would only eat frozen krill.

    Brine shrimp.

    With the prices of gasoline lately its cheaper for me to raise brines at home then going to the lfs once a week. This also helps me keep this obsession in check. :wink:

    I did this to my marine aquarium. Drove my wife nuts for almost 3 days but the sand settles and did not harm to the fish .
