I've had 3 silver dollars for a little over a month in my 125g. They grow suuuper fast! I got them when they were about the size of a quarter. They are now bigger than 2 1/2" a piece. They are very reflective as well! I don't believe they have any trouble swimming as they can jet around from one...
I've got a few new fish from the LFS today and a few hours after I brought them home, one died. All other are fine and all my water tests are good. Real question is: I've got to take the dead fish back to the LFS tomorrow with a sample of water from the tank. I'm leaving the tank overnight and...
When you say anostomus, is that what you're thinking I have? And they bought two. Will that become a problem as well? All my fish are very young right now.
I don't have any gouramis. I have a 125g with the following:
Red tail shark 2
Rainbow shark 1
Black ruby barbs 3
Clown loach 7
Turquoise rainbow 2(pair)
Bala shark 2
Pleco 1
Anglefish 3
2 catfish
3 silver dollars
AND the new addition (2)

They seem alright now but they are still new. I'll keep a close eye on them. If I end up having to use my "timeout box" I'll take them back to the lfs.
My brother and sister decided to go to the store and pick up some fish for my tank. Thankfully they got some and don't know what they are ?. Awesome for me! Can you ID this fish?
I agree. I have seven now. I want more but I know they get bigger and I want to save some room for more bala sharks and angelfish. They click all the time and it's pretty freaky!
Just thought I'd share this. It's nothing of quality and pretend you don't hear the tv in the background! It's a 6 foot long 125 gallon tank with the following:
NO real plants!
7 Clown Loaches
3 Black Ruby Barbs
2 Red Tail Sharks
1 Rainbow Shark
2 Turquoise Rainbow (pair)
1 Bala Shark (soon to...
