Thanks! Great suggestion and I think that may be the way I go. Love the idea of several feather dusters! I am assuming that by the time the tank is cycled that I will have enough algae, etc. to support the CuC.
The fish I think that I will put in a week apart or at least a week between...
So I tried to allow each of my administrators to pick a fish that best "fits" their personality. Big mistake of course none of them picked anything that was remotely compatible with eachother or suitable for this size tank, one picked a freshwater species.
It is in a safe place. We have converted one of the offices in the administration area into a soft room. We allow kids to use the room to spend time with our therapy dog or to just decompress. We don't take kids in the room who are out of control and access is only under direct supervision...
Finished the plumbing today and am officially leak free! Dry rock should be in next week and I will finally begin to cycle the tank. Also, thought I would give a shout out to Premium Aquatics located near Indianapolis for the donations. I visited their storefront and they have a fantastic...

I am looking to do some corals. Probably some softies, zoas, etc. Nothing too crazy really.
I want the tank to really capture the kid's...

Here is the donation list so far.

As long as you have direct sunlight you will need to take that into consideration. Perhaps back down your artificial lighting to help account for the direct sunlight. Honestly, you will have to just play it by ear and see what works best for you. Tanks, especially nano tanks, take regular...
Changing your substrate is a good start. I recommend that you do the weekly smaller water changes with a monthly larger one. This will help. So much easier to enjoy a tank when they look somewhat like we want them to.
So I would guess that the sunlight is a big part of the algae problem. On the other hand it is possible that the sunlight is making it possible to support the nem as the stock lighting on the non-hqi biocubes are t5 bulbs if I am not mistaken. I am not sure how well bubble tip nems will do...
