No, 80 is not too high to the point of doing harm. You'll want the temp ideally to be around 76-78, however hitting 80 will be of no concern. My chiller kicks on at anything above 79, but I aim to maintain water at about 79 (I like it a bit warmer than others). My tank is absolutely flourishing...
I am removing my coral and placing all of it (about 50 pieces) into huge storage totes (the totes will have the tank water, powerheads and heaters). I cannot put the coral in my new tank for atleast 24 hours because the two 500w heaters have not arrived and the new tank is too cold (I assume)...

Hmmm... If you're unsure about bleach I definitely won't go that route until someone can confirm it will be ok... Do you have any other suggestions? I appreciate the input.
