- I upgraded!!! I have a 45 gallon fresh water tank, filtered by an Aquaclear 70 (love it!!). For stock, I have 5 platties (2m, 3f), 6 fancy guppies (2m, 4f), 6 neon tetra, 5 cory cats (unsure of gender, 3pepper and 2 emerald), 2 baby albino bristle nose plecos (1m, 1f), and a male dragonscale beta. Late September, I'm going to finish my stock with 2 dwarf fire-belly gouramis and 5 zebra danios.
As well, I have a 35 gallon hex tank with the same filter. For stock, I have 2 Fancy gold fish (my sisters named them: Dinkleberg and spot), 1 common gold fish (dash), 1 male dragon scale beta (Arnold), and 2 oto catfish (steve and bob).
Special thanks to Sgt. Ray at the 180th Fighter Wing for helping me acquire the 35 gallon hex. The goldies would be alive if it wasn't for the tank we found in his garage.
