Thanks for the posts! Whoops!! I had washed the tank before with soap, but I rinsed it several times and let it dry out.. worst thing of all is dad also used a chemical to get rid of the hard water line some years ago.. then again I rinsed it a lot of times.. I guess its still bad for the fish...
