I have a type of najas (guppy grass) that will turn red in better lighting. But right now its to cold to ship.

If you check out anubisdesign Mark gets red angels quite often but they are high priced.

They will lay eggs no matter what. They also won't hatch in freshwater very often so no worries about over populating the tank. I have had one snail in one of my tanks for a couple of years and she is always laying eggs.

Sounds like nerite snail eggs. Is that the kind of snail you have? I know they seem like almost impossible to remove.

I've never had a problem of acclimating fish. No matter where I get my new fish from I always drip acclimate them to my water. May take a couple hours or more, but never had a problem with doing it that way.

What kind of Vics do you have, I have mbipi, ruby greens and fulus? They like a ph of 7.8 to 8.2 lots of hiding places. Omnivores, but need more veggie than meat. To much meat can cause bloat. Most will hybridize with other vics. Most are on a species protection program.

Are you sure you have it connected tight. If it didn't seat right it will do that.

Pull out the impeller and make sure there is no crud around it or in the base where the impeller goes. I had one that had gotten a snail in there and it rattled like crazy till I cleaned that out.
