    Water Quality

Yep - last week. My NO2 was 0.1 then - hence the filter change. Thank you so much for your advice. I'll water change again and test again in a couple of days. Thank you so much!

    Water Quality

Hi, I'm hoping for some advice on my water quality. My readings are: NO3 - 10 NO2 - 0.1 PH -7.5 NH3 - 0 I've had a death and 2 of my fish are looking very ill, sticking to the filter and not moving at all. They've been fine for the last 5 months! Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

    Fish dying - advice please

Thank you! I'm going to get a liquid test today, I'll probably know more then and keep reading on here so I can make the right fish choices rather than just going with what the shop assistants tell me. Thanks again ... I'll keep you posted x

    Fish dying - advice please

Thank you both! The loach that died was a Gyrinocheilus aymonieri. The water testing kits are such a minefield! Thats why I bought a test strip kit - as I didn't know where to start with the liquid tests. Thanks again!

Thank you all so much! Just to say ... All those fish weren't in at the same time. We've only ever had a maximum of 8 fish at one time. I'll upload test types and results when I get home. You're fabulous! Thank you x

Hi everyone! We've had our tank set up since Christmas - and to be honest, don't feel like we're having much luck! We've got a 70ltr tank and we've had 8 neon tetras, 6 platys, 4 guppies, a sucking loach, 2 snail eating loach and 3 mollies over the 7 months and are left with one Molly, both...

Platy - missing scales and fin

I'm devastated ... My 3 month old Platy who defied the odds as we were on holiday when he was born, has died today with the above symptoms. I'm guessing he's been attacked as it's so sudden and he was fine yesterday.
