    Wanted: Plant Assortment

I'm looking for a small assortment of plants to go along with my anacharis and aponogeton bulbs in my 10 gallon tank. It's medium light and no co2. I am looking for moss, java ferns, some small foreground plants, and many other things. List what you have or would be willing to sell me...

    Cleanup Crew for planted 10g

I'm not into the whole co2 thing, and I'm planning on supplementing the otos diet with zuc. Three would be fine with the zuc 2 times a week, right?

    Cleanup Crew for planted 10g

I'm really having a tough time deciding between 3 otos or 1 clown pleco right now. The other tank mates will probably be a school of 6 harlequin rasboras and 3 endler/guppy hybirds (males). I also plan to have a few MTS and Ramshorn snails, and maybe one other thing.

    Cleanup Crew for planted 10g

I am trying to decide what the best cleanup crew for a heavily planted 10g is, any ideas? Right now I have several aponogeton bulbs growing, a long string of anacharis, and I plan to add a few anubias, java ferns and java moss. I would also like a small foreground plant. Any ideas for that? They...

    Plants for my Vivarium

I'd say the best choice is probably lillies! You can find so many varieties and different kinds. Check out pond plants, if you go to Ticker they have a ton of plants that would do awesome! Good luck :)

    best all-purpose fert and substrate

+1 to bert. Pool Filter Sand is saving my 10g planted tank right now from the awful oil-dri I tried first. Pool filter sand is cheap, appealing and easy to use! It comes in think granules and won't be easily disturbed like other sands! Good luck!

    Gravel as substrate?

Although not many people use regular gravel on this site doesn't mean it isn't viable for plants. As long as your plants receive enough CO2 (I'm assuming you don't have a system, so it mostly comes from your fishes' waste), light, and micro/macro nutrients they should be fine. You can always try...

    Planted 10g Stock? Help :)

So I am wondering how many Enderls, scarlet badis, ghost shrimp and otos to stock it with, and should I get pygmy cories too or not? It seems like people that have planted tanks generally add more fish than not, is that because the plants will consume the harmful ammonia and nitrites/nitrates? I...

    10 gallon with endlers?

Hey everybody. I still have a extra 10gallon sitting around. Tomorrow I am getting a free hood and filter. I want a cool heavily planted tank. I really like endlers and I have just found a store that will sell them to me! I also like RCS and other types of shrimp. What would be a good stocking...

    Betta in a community tank?

Bettas can definitely be great center piece fish in a tank like that, but how strong is your filtration? What about water current? A betta may not even be suitable for that tank even if it was in there alone. There are many other fish that can go great as center piece fish. A really similar fish...

Looking for some thing for the bottom

Can I ask what type of frog you have? Is it an African Dwarf Frog (small with skinny legs, and eyes on the side of its head) or an African Clawed Frog (get up to 6 inches from head to butt, not including legs, and eyes on the top if its head)? Kuhli loaches will not feed on algae sadly, but are...
