A few questions on testing and test kits. Which ones should i get and when and how often should i test. I hear liquid test kits are the best but does it really matter that much? Should i have a stock of medical treatments incase testing brings up unwanted results?

Great thanks. Its a 120L tank and i have 5 platies in there as well. I need to sort my platy issue first as i have 2 Males 2 females and 1 young. One of the females is looking a bit sorry for herself and i think she may be ill but if i take her out then it will be 2:1 males:females.

I have one blackmoor or oranda (can some tell me the difference and which one i have?). Are they ok to be on their own or do they prefer to be kept with another. If so should this be make/female?
