Yeah, maybe injury, or maybe a disease is causing his scales to peel? I am not the best at reviving fish from illness or injury, so maybe someone else could help you with treating the fish for whatever it has and prevent future incidents. I do know that if it is sick, you should quarantine it...

What is an ideal tank set up to you? I would like to hear peoples opinion on this, and other people might too. I would post what I think, but you would be reading this until 2072. I have a problem with talking and typing too much. Thanks! :) (people getting started might need to know too)

I just found this app, it is really amazing, I have been a long time lurker. My dad had a tank, but he lost interest in the hobby, so I took it over. The next thing I know, he is selling all his fish and tank :( I think he did it to get the electricity bills down, but still. Hopefully one day...
