- I have a 55 gallon tank with an led light on top that is hooked up to a 12 hr timer,filtered with a canister filter that is connected to a co2 Sera Reactor and a co2 tank with solenoid and bubble counter. Inside the tank I have black sand lining the bottom, with some decorative rocks, a piece of drift wood, 5 different freshwater plants with an air stone located on the back wall of the tank. I did put on a co2 regulator to keep an eye on the amount of co2 being put into my tank.
