No I couldn't get the PAR value. I'm going to try and email the company and see if they can give it to me though. What PAR value would I be wanting to be close to?

They also sell a RGB one with a remote for about $25 too on amazon. So it would help if I used this and the RGB with the red light on?

I just purchased a 20 watt zitrades led floodlight to use on my low to med light planted tank. It's a cool white, 6500k with 120 degree angle. It says on the box that there is no UV, or IR or other deleterious radiation. I have a 20 gallon long tank. And I'm either going to build a small canopy...

Ok I just took my reading and the ammonia is now down to .50 and I hadn't done a PWC between the two measurements. 8.0 and .50. My nitrite is zero when it's usually .5 and my nitrate is 10.0 when usually 5.0

It's Fish in, I dose Prime to the total tank volume and do 25% PWC every other day. Everyone seems happy and I feed 2 a day very small pinches so much they can eat in 2 to 3 minutes and once a week I give them a fasting day

So I'm cycling my tank, and was wondering if I should leave the ammonia level as high as 8.0? or should I do a PWC and try and bring it down to 4.0? And could this possibly be my ammonia spike? cause It's been at a constant 4.0 for about a week
