I see small koi under 3" at our lfs usually less than 5$ each at that size, but bigger koi can cost quite a bit.

These species of turtle are all 3 found all over south Texas. And **** those racoons. A friend lost a cockatiel to them. No outside bird cages lol

Red ear sliders or eastern painteds do well. I have kept many turtles but eventually the get too large and I release them into the city parks pond. Also, I have had issues with raccoons eating my turtles. so watch for predators.

Just so you know, none of your questions are dumb. Glad you asked. I always wanted koi. But apparently you have to have a sea world in your yard. smh.

Well the children wanted a fish tank. I bought a fully equipped 5.5g aquarium for 3 goldfish. One white comet, a golden fantail, and a shubunkin. All less than 2" at this point. I'd love to have a tank like that. Bass, bluegill, catfish, maybe a sturgeon or paddlefish, maybe gar, crappie, and a school of shad. Bass Pro Shops in my living room. Lol.

Definetly a bluegill or similar species of sunfish. I got a walleye out of the feeder minnow tank @ petsmart one time.
