    If it is either of those, how do I treat him? Is there a special food I have to give him, heat the water, medicine, etc. and what brand would you recommend? Also, do you think it's real bad or that he has a chance.

    Yes I have a 20g extra tank that I could treat his injury in.

    To me personally it looks more like he's injured. He is a passion danio and I have him in a 36 gallon aquarium with a school of 6 bentos tetras, 4 rummynose tetras, 3 other passion danios, and an angelfish. (My angelfish is not aggressive at all he's very mild mannered). Sorry for the horrible...
