Is it ok to put old decorations in new tank?

The only 'down side' I can think of would be IF you had snails that you did not want in your new tank. It will help cycle the new tank.

    veggies

I vote for zuchs. I nuke it for about 30sec and stick it on a fork and plop into the ABN, Briggs and shrimp tanks.

Thank you all for the nice greetings. The national aquarium in Baltimore is a wonderful place to spend the weekend, not to mention but the surrounding area has some very good seafood eateries. Good luck and enjoy,

    Blank Slate - 30G Long

If it were me I would slow down with buying fish. Ich does not go away quickly. Spend time not money. Maybe look at a different LFS. If you walk into a LFS and they tell you that all of their tanks are healthy beware. Fish get sick from all the shipping they get before they get to you. Watch...

    Adding a new fish

First goldfish need about 10 gal/fish for them to thrive, they will survive in less but do you want to live in a hut? Second gold fish are a cool water fish, 76 is to hot for them. Remember the higher the temp., the lower amount of O2 disolved in the water. Goldfish have a digestive system that...

when should i 1st feed my new born guppy fry?

It depends on your setup. If they are in a tank with an established sponge filter, I would not rush to feed as there is plenty of microscopic food on the filter for them to eat. If you have them in a breeder trap, i would feed them SMALL amounts about 5x aday. If you have frozen baby brine...

    20 living fry...now what?

I did not understand about the eyes, so I have no opinion. I would feed the fry powered flake food about 5 times a day. excess food will fall into the main tank so don't worry about overfeeding. I would add salt if the tank has fish that would tolerate it. mollys like salt (about 1 tsp./gal)...

    (1) 350 Watt Heater Enough?

I would use 2 heaters. It depends onthe ambient temp of the room, desired temp of water, heat gained from lights and pumps. It cost me more to heat my tanks in the summer vs winter because the tanks are near the heating unit for my house. 3-5 watts per gallon is a good starting point.

    How to feed frozen Bloodworms

I have done it both ways, depending on what I was feeding. Large fish got chunks and fry or small fish(guppies) got thawed. I only buy 1lb. blocks, as the cubes cost too much per feeding.

    New to AA

Hello All: I read about this site in FAMA. I'm new to this modern technology (computers) but not to fish. I have had at least 1 tank for 41 years (the most I had was 50 when I was breeding guppies). My interests have taken a turn to inverts, so I consider myself an invert newbie. Of my 12 tanks...
