So for starters, I'm preparing to move and upgrade my tank at the same time. I'll be upgrading to the 50 Gal Innovative Marine Lagoon, but the issue I'm stuck at now is adding more flow to the tank. Obviously there are 2 return spouts that are stock but I'd like to add 2 more power heads to give...
I was under the impression dosing would be the overall best way to promote coral growth besides the water changes and filtering.
I've never done dosing and I was just more curious about it for when the day comes that there are larger amounts of SPS requiring more than just a water change. (I...
With have a little bit of time under my belt with my Salt Water tanks now I'm looking at finally ordering a custom tank, the only thing is that all the tanks I have are 'All In One' tanks where the sump and return are all in the back.
I've done a large amount of research regarding the sump...
So I've been wanting to do this for quite some time and I think I'm going to finally get the ball rolling.
So my plan currently is to build myself a drop off tank. I want to build a drop off tank, a small one first so I can learn everything and work out the kinks and then move up to a much...
I've had a huge increase in flatworms recently and bought the product Flatworm Exit, however the directions weren't inside the box and haven't found any directions on dosing for a tank, does anyone have them? And has anyone used it and noticed how quick the die off is? I know to do as much...
For an update, just before I left the house he had pretty much sucked himself back in, moved positions slightly, and tentacles started to bubble up. Just an odd occurrence perhaps?

So yesterday I got 2 anemones (going in separate tanks) from LiveAquaria and while the one is doing great today, the other seems to have turned inside out some. Some moments it seems to be bringing them back in and other times they seem to be fully out. My parameters are exactly the same in both...
Potters from my experience seemed to be get stressed quickly. A beautiful fish and when they are eating properly and aren't stressed really seem to be a nice center piece.
Had to give mine up until I can upgrade to a bigger tank.

Thanks for the tips. I know nothing is ever guaranteed in the marine world. But I know there are things that I can do to better my odds and also minimize stress on my stock.

About a week ago one of my Black and White Clownfish passed away. He seemed to have some troubles right away where as the other one has done great. I'm going to give it some time before I introduce another to the tank but I'm curious as to how I should do so? I'm not terribly familiar with...
It's hard to tell, it looks like a little anemone. I found it on this little rock randomly one day in my tank while cleaning and don't have the slightest clue where it came from. It's hard to get a good picture so i apologize for the poor quality.

When I ordered this rock it only gave the name Crown Royal Zoa but there are 2 types here. So which is which?
I'll have some other photos of some Zoas I don't know the names of later when I can get some good photos of them.

Thank you! Everywhere I've searched they've made it seem like switching to the blue light at night is good enough
