Oh well what I was referring to was the price of live rock about 7.99 to 8.99 just to stack it when you can get dead or dried live rock for like 2.99 I think and eventually turn live so it's cheaper.. To use that as your base.

My preference is to drop sand in and immediately after start adding the salt water and let that run for days then add live rock and wait.. But I have a tank just to make salt water. If you don't just do water, sand, then rock. Rock last because if not you have to take an extra step and blow off...
