Well her main squeeze has calmed down a bit since there is another dominant male in the tank. The 2 males are too busy guarding their territory to follow the female around. But if she does I luckily have a LFS (Not a chain) that I am selling the fry to. They have amazing setups of SW & FW and...

I didn't notice until about a week ago. The tank they are in has many hiding places. And I already planned on keeping it as well. The deformed fish is my favorite actually. I'm not going to kill it because it's deformed and I don't plan on breeding it either.

She was only holding for a few days. She just had a batch on December 18th. 21 fry in their own tank. :)

Oh and for the pictures of the dad I took some tonight for help with ID'ing him. The yellow lab is the mama of the fry.

Alright it's been awhile for an update. Baby fry are doing wonderful. I've counted around 21 [good job mama] Here are some pictures The first 2 pictures are of the little fish I've started calling "sharkbait" He's the one with the messed up tail fin. He used to stay up at the top of the water...

Mouth Brooder. She was looking miserable for about a month. She couldn't eat or anything. She's definitely happy now that she can eat again haha

So one of my baby fry got the short end of the stick and I just noticed today [there's so many] It's little tail fin go's straight up its almost L shaped. I feel so bad for it. It manages to swim around and still eat thank god. I don't know what to do though.

I'll try to get a better picture. He loves the camera. In the mean time can anybody tell me what this African this boy is? When he was little he was bright blue with black stripes. Now he's turned light blue and has gotten a lot of yellow.

I'm not sure when I bought them last May they were in the "Mixed African Cichlids" And they became a pair I guess. :)

I know. I stopped everything and just looked at them for a while! :) I can stare at them for hours. They are so cute with huge eyeballs

2nd times a charm :fish2: My yellow lab was holding for the second time. The first time she didn't stick through it but she did this time! We welcomed around 15 baby fry yesterday! I'm so excited. :D

Well she ended up swallowing them or spitting the eggs out the next day =/ but it was her first time. But now she has another batch in her mouth today!!! Let's hope she keeps them!!!! :)

Okay cool. I'll take him out tomorrow. I'm going to rearrange the big tank tomorrow and put him back in. He was gettting pretty aggressive towards the other cichlids in his "breeding" hole he dug in the sand haha.
