Charlie is right. I have the same one and if the water column is not in the right spot, the cup will fill up too fast and overflow. You will have to play with it to find the sweet spot. Hope this helps.

I use two 300w heaters in my sump for my 150 gallon.

I have one that I bought off of E-bay. I paid $100 a year ago and it works great. I have a 150 gallon that I filled with it and replace evaporated water every other day. I personally would save the money and try one of the cheaper ones. God knows every dollar you can save in this hobby is great.
