Hey, thanks for the reply! There’s no decor in the quarantine tank and the spots weren’t there before it was put in. Idk how it could have injured itself in there.

Have a guppy in a quarantine tank. It has fin rot and now it has red dots on body. It came out of a 20 gallon tank with .5 ppm ammonia and it has been having fin rot for a few days. What could the red spots that just formed today signify?

The tank is cycled. It may have been too many fish added at one time because I added three guppies at once 6 days after adding 5 Rasboras. Nitrites are at zero, ammonia is the only thing that’s gone up.

Thanks for your response! I change the water once a week usually 30-50%. I had an ammonia spike so I did an extra water change this week. The ammonia has went back down now though.
