Well a little over a month ago I was given a nice 100 gallon Bowfront tank. I set it up with just sand and water and HOB filter for the 3 weeks I had to go to work. The day I was to return home the wife calls and says the tanks leaking slowly but couldn't tell where the leak was. So she drained...
I was heckling around today trying to locate a actual fish store not just a general pet store and I may ha r sound a good one that claims to be excellent with Cichlids on the north side of Houston. And had great reviews so I'm hoping to make a stop in there soon and see if I can find someone...

Hmm good to know. Never knew that. I may end up having to stick with a fresh setup just for the ease of it... my better half is home even when I'm gone for the 3 weeks but I'd like to keep it simple for her as well haha. She does a great job on our 40 gal setup

I was thinking about running two of the marineland penguin 350 HOB filters and A Fluval fx6 filter on the 100gal but that's when I was still on the mind set of just staying fresh water.... was told can never really have to much filtration and with that setup would be waaaaannt more than enough...
