mushroom anemones

in my canopy, i have two fans made to be used to blow air through ducts. they push a lot more air than most computer fans and run off of ac current.

my return plumbing once got dissconnetcted from my 2200 gph return pump, so i can feel your pain.

i see that this is older, but i think my turbo flotor does way better than my remora pro ever did. but i guess this is in sump rather than hang on, so that might be a difference. do you have a sump?

i'd call it a guidline more so than a rule. but as far as the fish, i think i'd skip the damsels. i don't really find them to be all that interesting. i really don't know what to suggest in their place. i was thinking of a lawnmower, but there would probably be some issues with the tang...

regarding the damsel, i wouldn't worry about catching him unless he was a problem. my yellow tail is actually on the bottom rung of the ladder. i have had no aggression problems at all with him.

sorry to tell you this, but there is no 'rule'. it really depends on the fish. a 4" watchman goby is going to be completely different than a 4" valentini puffer which will be ocmpletely different than a 4" dwarf fuzzy lion. list of fish you'd like and i'm sure you could get better advice...

next time see if the lfs will put a hold on it, then watch it in their tank for a a while. make sure it's eating and everything, and after all that, then you can take it home.

i use amiracle u tube overflows. they have been modified to handle more gph than the standard, and they're outstanding, except for all the dang noise. next time, i'm drilling (haven't heard that one before....)
