I just tested water again ph 7.4, Amonia 0, Nitrite 0, and nitrate 5 ppm

I have a 20g tank with 2 tetras, molly, Dano 3cats and what was two betas. For some reason everytime i add water or do a water change one of my fish die. I tested the water and everything tests ok any idea what would cause this.

Thats it after i googled it looks like a mystery snail egg sack

I have three mystery snails but they arnt the same. I have a black, yellow and I just added an ivory one a week agao

its looks like a bunch of small round eggs grouped into one sack

I have never had my water as high as the egg sack is its almost at the top of the tank thats why i wasnt 100% sure they were eggs.

2 betas, 2 tetras, a Molly, Dano, and 3 cats.

I have an aquarium about 6 months old. Recently i noticed what looked like a cocoon thats about 6 inches out of the water that looks like some sort of eggs but not sure if they are eggs how would of they gotten so far out of the water or if they arnt eggs what else could it be.
