I actually purchased a mop/hand held steamer and it works well removing water stains from my lid. I think I paid about $130 for it. It came with a couple of scrubber type attachments. Good thing about it is it being chemical free. I also have a battery operated scrubber, kinda looks like...

All done!!! Here is it finally!!! I am probably going to add some more stone at a later date, it is a little thin in some spots. Also in the picture is my new slate cave. The BN Plecos love it. If only they knew what a pain it was to build. Enjoy and thanking everyone so much for the imput.

I think if I had a tank that big I would be broke.. flat broke... Too pauperish to even put water in it....

You could always pre-water the buckets for the following week. At least then they will be about room temp before going in. Make sure you put lids on them as you would not want extra goodies going in the water while they were sitting around.
