messed around with it a little and got it working

it is setup at my girlfriends so when i go back over there tonight for dinner i am gonna do some tests with the motor and impeller and see whats up but i did try to feel the motor housing when i had it pluged in and didnt feel anything

Didnt know if anyone had a extra laying around i could buy off em/trade ... i have the biggest aqua clear filter and somehow lost the intake tube ... need the whole part that plugs into impeller part and has a U shape down to where it sucks in the water. TIA

Got a Emperor 280 off of a deal through craigslist with my new tank and when i plug it in nothing happens ... doesnt even make a noise. Anyone have a clue what could be wrong with it? .... outlet i used it on does work.

Ah yes it always does. I did some sanding on the stand and put some primer on it and getting it ready to paint tomorrow and i will be painting a black background on the tank as well, looking to hopefully get it setup today before my gf gets home from work but im a little limited as i just had...

Out so i was just watching my tank while i fed some food and i was looking real close at my little zoo garden and down by the sand i spoted these tiny little bug things and i dont know if this is good or bad ... i am not able to get a pic of em right now so ill do my best to explain them ...

Ok so I run a Fluval 104 cannister filter on my 29gal mostly for flow but right now i am really not liking the output nozzle on the thing cause it shoots sort of upward and i dont really have much control over where it goes ..... i was wondering if there are some sort of different attachments...

Thats exactly how my 3 used to act before i gave this one to tukie .... i know what ya mean about the tanks ... i have 2 SW tanks and 2 FW tanks so the MTS has def sucked me in .... i remember when i first started and all that good advice you gave me :) .. look where i am now Ray
