I've definitely noticed that my fish have learned when the lights come on it's food time and they go nuts. The tank is in a room that gets pently of natural light during the day but the sun doesn't directly hit it. So basically I only use the light to feed and to watch them or show them off...

Hopefully we'll get an update as to how the snail is doing since so many people liked reading this thread....

So it took you 2 and half weeks to notice the snail was gone or you just decided to finally look for it?
