I have a few of these scattered around the lower elements in my tank? Are they eggs? Egg bearers are serpae and phantom tetras and otos.

My blood red swordtail male has been hiding and this morning he is close enough for me to see him. He has this white area on his side and his tail may be rotting (hard to tell). What is this and what should I do? Note: he was getting picked on by another male. Could this be injury-related.

I don’t believe it, but water cleared pretty well about three days after this and even better, every fish survived! A week later, it was crystal clear. I’m still needing to treat for ammonia, but so far, we’re all okay!
