    They eat like pigs and they only do it in the spray bar current on the inside. Also it's not a all the time thing.

    I have a new goruami that swims up and down the back of my tank along the glass in the current from the spray bar. The spray bar is blowing against the glass to cut down on the water current in the rest of the tank. Is this a normal thing for fish to enjoy ???? :-?

    Well I have 12 tetra neon's and they seem very spunky....:D They eat like little pigs too. I'm going to wait a couple weeks to see how things go before getting more fish. :cool: Very excited to have fish in the tank now..... :thumb:

    Tank is cycled and I was wondering for feeding the bacteria how much until I get fish ??? I'm thinking cap in the morning and cap at night. I put in three cap fulls of ammonia = 8 ppm last night and this morning it was 0 ppm. Nitrite 0 ppm, Nitrite 5-6 ppm

    Ok my tank is almost cycled and I was thinking of getting Cory(4) and a school of neon tetra(12)... This is for 55gal. tank. :cool: Does this sound ok for a start ?? Opinions please.... :crazyeyes:

    Well they are starting to kick in.... I bumped the temp up to 84 and have my spray bars aerating the water. I read that this helps speed up the cycle. :D

    Well I'm going to buy another 2213 canister because I hate the vibration from the HOB's. My one 2213 is so quiet..... I'm in bed now and I decided to dump the HOB filters the noise is getting to me. :-?

    You do have the canister sitting below the tank when you suck on the out flow tube??? Once you get the water to suck up in the intake line it should fill fast. It doesn't take much.

    I agree. :cool: So is that a 4440 or a 4430 in your avatar? Here's our old 4430 from the late 70's. :cool: Best tractor we had on the farm.... Me liked tractors when I was little boy.
