The snails have gathered in the top corner of tank and have been there for two days.

I am building a 30 gallon sump for reef tank and looking for thoughts/ideas on set-up. Should I put the skimmer in the inlet or return pump section? What substrate in refug? Mud or sand? Any good plans or drawings online? I always get great ideas from experienced people on here :))

What is this on live rock?

Any thoughts on the wave maker systems? I'm curious if the work well or not. Is it a "needed" item in a reef tank. I need more water flow and wondered if anyone had tried them. Thanks!

If it's going into sump.. Make a bubble trap with some acrylic between the skimmer and the return... It's easy :)

Gallon reef with fish. I am thinking of buying two 450GPH circulating pumps for flow in the tank. Should I do one big one or two smaller ones? How much flow should I have? (ballpark)
