I am starting a SW tank and was looking at heaters and came across an under gravel heater..It says mainly to help plants grow..I was planning on growing a couple of plants in my SW tank..Does anyone have any experience with these?..I know they are meant more for FW tanks..Also would this heat...

Thank you everyone..I have actually came across that south sea lace rock several times..there seems to be one common picture for all of them..Is there any way i could tell the company want i want..like for example rock with bigger holes or flatter types on that lace rock?..Or do i just accept...

you can drill the rock? I have to check that out..That sounds awesome though. I did hear about making your own rock. However i heard it takes forever to cure.. is that true?

So I found some black sand..its Hawaiian Black Sand..Does anyone know have this sand? or Know a lot about it?..Is there a Way to keep the sand clean Jonathan? or should i just use something else?

Making my own rock? I have thought about it but i thought it would be a little to hard..How long does it take? Dont you have to sure it? And thanks for the SPS corals! I was leaning towards t5 lighting and that would allow me to grow sps which is going to be awesome!! I have asked around...

what if i was to combine it with live sand? Would that make my dry sand live quicker?

its a 75 gal tank..4 ft long 18" deep and like close to 2 ft tall..Also about how long would it take to make dry sand live?

Okay would it be better to go with a six bulb of 4 bulb?..Because i have done some reading on orange green and yellow coralline algae..And apparently those algae prefer less light? i don't know if this is true or not..If i did 6 bulbs would i be able to get away of growing corals on the bottom...
