- I currently have a 10 gallon freshwater tank with 4 female bettas, 4 zebra danios, 4 cory catfish, 2 baby male guppies, 1 female molly. Now before you scold me for anything. This tank is thriving. I went through this by trial and error. Biggest mistake of my life. I'm an animal rights activist. So I cried every time a fish died. I also have a beautiful male betta living by himself in a bowl on my desk. He's extremely happy.
